Privacy Policy

Evolo is built local-first and privacy-first. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we don't. By using this website or the Evolo app, you agree to the practices described here.

1. The app is local-first

Your workouts, sets, history, and body-scan results live on your device (via Apple's SwiftData). We do not have a server-side copy of your training data and we do not require an account to use the app.

2. AI body scan

When you run a body scan, the single photo you provide is sent over an encrypted connection through our processing proxy (a Cloudflare Worker) to our AI provider (Google Gemini, via OpenRouter) for the sole purpose of generating your physique scores.

• The photo is processed in transit and is not retained on our servers.
• It is not used to train any AI model.
• Your scores and reports are cached on your device, not by us.

3. Waitlist (this website)

If you join the waitlist, we collect the email address and optional name you submit, along with the platform (iOS or Android) you expressed interest in. This is stored securely with our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare). We use it only to:

• notify you when Evolo launches, and
• send your founding-member discount code.

We do not sell or rent your information, and we don't share it with advertisers. You can ask us to delete your waitlist entry at any time — see Contact.

4. Analytics & cookies

We use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics and PostHog) and cookies to understand how visitors interact with the site — pages viewed, time on page, where visitors come from, and clicks on the download buttons. This helps us improve the page. We use essential cookies to keep the site working and analytics cookies to measure usage. We don't use advertising trackers and we don't sell your information. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) also processes standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security, abuse prevention, and delivery.

5. Data retention

Waitlist data is kept until launch communications are complete or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. On-device app data persists until you delete it from your device.

6. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the waitlist data we hold about you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. To exercise any of these, contact us below.

7. Children

Evolo is not directed to children and is intended for users aged 16 and older.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above when we do.
